In our communities, many young readers face real barriers: limited access to books, inconsistent support, and widening literacy gaps that follow them through school and adulthood.
Those challenges dim confidence, shrink opportunity, and weaken the very neighborhoods we call home.

But when we step forward — when neighbors, families, and community partners link arms — we turn that story around.

This season, we choose to:

Through the Hall Academy Holiday Campaign, we are working together to place books, reading kits, and literacy support directly into the hands of children who need them most —
not as charity, but as community investment, anchored in love, equity, and hope.

And to make giving simple, meaningful, and joyfully festive, we’ve created a Holiday Brochure filled with thoughtful treats and gift options. Each selection directly supports the Hall Academy Reading Initiative, making it easy for families, neighbors, and partners to contribute in ways that feel warm, purposeful, and impactful.

This event includes cookies, festive décor, stickers, bookmarks, and a surprise Christmas craft activity perfect for families. A fun holiday Read-Aloud—featuring stories like The Polar Express and the Berenstain Bears Christmas—creates a cozy gathering point for the community. Attendees can explore reading tips and the benefits of nurturing young learners while discovering ways to support H.A.L.L.’s BookClub Pop Events and Adopt-A-Reader Campaign.

Enjoy a cheerful holiday pop-up for families and curious learners featuring festive décor, cookies, stickers, bookmarks, and a fun Christmas storytime with favorites like The Polar Express, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, and classic Grinch tales.

Attendees can explore great reading finds, pick up simple reading tips that support lifelong learning, and learn how to stay connected with BookClub Pop Events or support the Adopt-A-Reader Campaign.
